Ich bin die Tipps mal durch gegangen. Von der Systemwiederherstellung habe ich aber abgesehen, da das wohl mehr Ärger als Nutzen bringt und ich mir nicht sicher bin ob die Rotation seit der Neuinstallation überhaupt schon einmal funktioniert hat.

Das Tool startet dann den “Sensor Monitoring Service”, was allerdings nichts bewirkt. Außerdem wird der Dienst beim erneuten Ausführen des Tools wieder als “nicht gestartet” aufgeführt. Außerdem möchte das Tool, das ich “Windows Location” (GPS-Lokalisierung?) aktiviere und leitet mich dann zum Dialogfeld “Windows-Features aktivieren” um, wo allerdings kein Punkt namens “Windows Location” zufinden ist.
 
Mir ist übrigens gerade aufgefallen, dass das in meinem ersten Post erwähnte Treiberpaket die Treiber einfach nur auf meine Festplatte entpackt hat. Leider weißt kein Treiber-Name auf Sensoren oder ähnliches hin.

WIe genau heißt denn der Treiber, der aktiviert wurde? “Windows Locater Service” gibt es nämlich nicht.
Findest du im Eventlog einen Eintrag über dessen Start und war das erfolgreich?
