Firmware Update für Surface Pro X

Für das Surface Pro X wurde Ende letzter Woche ein umfangreiches Firmware Update bereitgestellt. Seit der Markteinführung aktualisiert Microsoft jetzt erst das zweite Mal das Treiberpaket für das Pro X. Dabei bleibt aber gefühlt kein Stein auf dem anderen.

Mit dem Update vom 29.04.2020 werden jede Menge Treiber aktualisiert, die Microsoft zuletzt im November für das Surface Pro X bereitgestellt hatte. Die Seite mit dem Update-Verlauf findet ihr unter https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4526368/surface-pro-x-update-history, aber ich fasse mal in einem Satz zusammen: So ziemlich bei allen Komponenten wurden Verbesserungen in Sicherheit und Stabilität vorgenommen.

Das Update des Grafiktreibers Qualcomm(R) Adreno (TM) 680 GPU soll vor allem Verbesserungen der Teams-Anwendung bringen, sicher keiner schlechter Zeitpunkt allerdings auch schwierig für Firmen die Updates auszurollen, da ja viele Anwender der IT-Branche Homeoffice machen.

Interessant sicher auch noch das Update von Bluetooth und des Lichtsensors. Das Update scheint sich also zu lohnen.
